For a JanSan distributor in Ontario, Mike conducted a SWOT Analysis, following it up with a integrated and comprehensive "Go To Market" plan that included 110 specific recommendations; including:

  •  Revised Vision & Mission 

  •  Creation of Values & Objectives

  •  Development of Key Strategies & Tactics

Providing Critical Analysis

For a well-established manufacturer, Mike led an effort to:

  • Evaluate all facets of the business, drafting and presenting an ambitious and sweeping restructure, including 98 recommendation, 95 gaining approval. 

  • Reviewed and renewed all pricing programs, consistently focusing on profits, while collecting valued input from Key Distributors, and conducting competitive analyses. 

  • Performed a review of existing talent, remuneration packages and job descriptions, building a new culture of reward through growth. 

Building Brand Awareness

For a small, but focused "green initiative" brand, Mike led the build from the ground up, taking up such leadership tasks as:

  • Creating a fresh and innovative brand, with new marketing collateral, developing market position, and staff, distributor and DSR/CSR training models.

  • Sourced and recruited 27 new U.S. distributors, 3 new Canadian distributors, and 1 each in Europe and Asia. Many of these markets were highly competitive and mature, so it took tremendous skill to differentiate a new player, and establish a steady growth trajectory. 

  • Closed out his tenure having created wide and respected brand awareness, led this team to become an established international leader in "green". while personally authored over 1,100 published articles for the industry.
